The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices and experience with GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other related technologies. This individual will play a key role in modernizing our software development processes and infrastructure to achieve greater automation, scalability, and efficiency.Responsibilities and DutiesCollaborate with software development teams to understand current processes and identify areas for CI/CD implementation and improvementDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple software projectsAutomate deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software updatesMonitor and optimize infrastructure performance and scalabilityWork with development teams to troubleshoot build and deployment issuesStay updated on industry best practices and technology advancements to continuously improve our CI/CD capabilitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldProven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer roleStrong understanding of GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other relevant tools and technologiesExperience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationProficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShellExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, researchers, and faculty.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) a plus.5 years of relevant working experience.
