See your ideas immediately help save lives!Startup culture/flexibility with long term financial stabilityHigh visibility and excellent advancement potentialYour work will matter and have immediate impact to operational usersBuild a diverse set of programs/technologies with training/mentoring to grow technicallyTop of the line benefits package to include professional development and trainingSchedule flexibility with options for partial remote workKey Responsibilities:Systems administration and support, including security patching, new system deployment, and account administrationGood knowledge of Amazon Web Services GovCloud and Microsoft Azure platformsNetworking, including building robust, secure wireless networks with Wireless Intrusion DetectionAdvising development staff on application securityLeading design reviews for complex systemsFunctionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutionsHave a complete understanding of the various system interdependence and limitationsIdentify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plansArchitect, design, implement, support, and evaluate infrastructure focused tools and services including project leadership rolesEvaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologiesMentor junior members of the teamDesign and implement fully automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, and AWS technologies.Assist in defining, managing, and creating cloud infrastructure through automation (Infrastructure-as-Code) for repeatable setup.Partner with other development and testing teams to improve our tools and processes that streamline the development lifecycle.Required Skills:BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experienceUnix/Linux operating systems experience development (at the kernel or device driver level), network protocols and hardware virtualization technologies (VMWare, XEN, etc).Advanced knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, and application security.At least 3 years of system, network and/or application security experienceProficiency in high-level scripting language (Perl, Python, Ruby, etc)Knowledge or experience with configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc)Knowledge or experience with relational and/or non-relational database systems (MS SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc)Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other Cloud platformsExperience with some or all of the following an advantage: Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, ELK, XenServer, IIS, Nginx, Tomcat, Git, BitBucket, Jira, Atlassian Plugin SDK, MSBuild, Gradle, MavenExperience with service-oriented architectureExperience with the application of threat modeling or other risk identification techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong sense of ownership and driveLocation: Conshohocken, Philadelphia, PA AreaAbout Employer is a leading communications and engineering company that delivers integrated solutions such as mobile networking, cloud services, engineering support, training and sustainment for geospatial systems, primarily Team Awareness Kit / Tactical Assault Kit (TAK).
