Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
Rate: Negotiable based on experience
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
• Design/build workflows and DevOps infrastructure to help achieve Continuous Integration, Testing, Deployment and Monitoring.
• Create, configure, and execute on-going or newly proposed processes and a variety of projects.
• Manage product builds and deployments.
• Create documentation for CI/CD Infrastructure.
• Implement Blue/Green Deployments
• Create system documentation for training and reference.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams.
Desired Experience:
• 5+ years of DevOps experience in improving efficiency and achieving Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment.
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure automation tools (such as Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Kubernetes, Consul, Chef).
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration with knowledge of installations, performance tuning, security, and shell scripting.
• Experience with SDLC Management software and solutions.
• Proven experience in building DevOps infrastructure and creating multiple environments.
• Experience with modern service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Atlassian, JIRA, Maven, Jenkins, etc).
• Experience with scripting languages such as shell, Python or Ruby.
• Experience with IOS and Android CI/CD is plus.
• Well-rounded development experience in C#/Java.
• Experience with cloud and hosted infrastructure.
• Fluency with GitLab and the branching method.
• Experience with networking load balancers.
• Experience working with diverse teams.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience in DevOps Engineering, team management, & collaboration using one or more of DevOps Automation tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Puppet, Ansible, GitHub, containerization (docker, kubernetes).
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experienced in security best practices for cloud-based application architectures and micro services.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure Hybrid-cloud.
• Experience running and maintaining a 24x7 Internet-oriented production environment.
• Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevSecOps program throughout the organization.
