DevOps Engineer – OpenShift
Position Type: Full Time – Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Summary
As a DevOps Engineer – OpenShift you will apply industry‑accepted practices for developing and monitoring applications as per the Design Document and aid in implementing them to production environments using Agile methodology. This role involves configuration and maintenance of containers, JBoss servers, repositories, builds and deployment plans for multiple releases.
Required Skills
- RedHat OpenShift experience
- Hands‑on experience in Kubernetes for containers – configuration, management and complete setup
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Ansible and XLR
- Experience in Java/J2EE technologies
- Hands‑on experience with development tools like Eclipse, Splunk
- Hands‑on experience with code quality tools such as Sonar/Crucible
- Design, implement and maintain cloud‑based solutions using AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for cloud deployments
Pay Range & Benefits
Pay Range*: $55/hr – $57/hr (based on education, experience, location, responsibilities, certifications, etc.)
