DevOps EngineerThe DevOps Engineer is responsible for maintaining our application infrastructure, creating, supporting and testing our CI/CD pipeline, and working to optimize our production environment. Additional responsibilities may include application support, internal customer interaction, audit reporting and more.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees and performs deployments made to production systemManages internal communication for deployed application changesMaintains production applications on serversImplements deployment automation for CI/CD pipelineOptimization and organization of production system environmentPerforms maintenance of systems alongside Development and ITMonitors for system issues for proactive correctionPerforms application support for internally used servicesResearches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflowParticipates in projects/tasks as instructed by the DevOps Manager, Director of Process Improvement, and CTOAdditional duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAttention to detailTechnical problem-solving skillsExperience with ContainerizationStrong understanding of object-oriented programming a plus1-3 years SQL or other database query language preferred1-3 years Linux/Bash experience preferredExperience troubleshooting in a live production environment preferredExperience with large datasets preferredExperience with high volume, mission critical applicationsExperience with version control (GIT, CVS)Able to read Java/C#Proficiency in MS Office SuiteEducation/ExperienceA bachelor's degree in a technical field is not required, but preferred.
