You will play a crucial role in engineering a modernization effort to converge our customer's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.As a DevOps Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in engineering a modernization effort to converge our customer's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.To succeed in this role, you must have:Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.15+ years of related experienceTechnical skills to deploy applications, install and configure complex software, manage network servers and technology tools, monitor and maintain the system for required levels of performance and troubleshoot issues and outages.Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly US citizenship requiredCandidates must have experience with:LinuxAWS, MASH, and VMsDocker SwarmDeployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)Terraform scripting and VM provisioningAnsible scripting and developmentThorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technologyGitDesired experience includes:Python scripting and developmentNiFi maintenance and configurationElasticsearch maintenance and configurationJava / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)HAProxyMongoDBCandidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 4-6 weeks).

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 - $212,750.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
