DevOps Engineer (AWS)
San Jose, CA 6 12 Months Contract
Are you a Linux expert with deep AWS experience and a passion for automation & Disaster Recovery? We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to manage critical cloud infrastructure, drive performance tuning, and ensure business continuity.
Job Description:
Manage & troubleshoot Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu) LVM, NFS, Systemd.
Architect and support AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route 53).
Implement Disaster Recovery strategies using AWS DRS failover/failback, recovery testing, RPO/RTO.
Automate infrastructure with Ansible & Shell/Bash scripting.
Monitor systems via CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and optimize performance & networking.
Required Skills:
Strong Linux administration & troubleshooting.
AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, KMS, ELB, Auto Scaling, Systems Manager, AWS Backup).
Disaster Recovery (DRS, Business Continuity).
Automation (Ansible, Bash/Shell).
Preferred (Good to have):
Terraform or CloudFormation.
Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
