The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with containerization technologies, and a deep understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS.
This role requires a hands-on professional who is passionate about automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.What You'll Do:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development processDevelop and manage containerization solutions using Docker and KubernetesDeploy, manage, and monitor applications on VMWare or AWS infrastructureCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of softwareAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deploymentMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system operationsEnsure security best practices are implemented across all stages of the development lifecycleCreate and maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and architectureWhat You'll Need:Minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity requiredHands-on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes, or similar container and orchestration technologiesProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or RubyBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field. Five (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a bachelor's degreeBonus Points If You Have:Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar roleStrong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormationFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administrationExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsMust have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearanceThe base pay range for this position in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $120,000 - $220,000 USD
