Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support enterprise automation and software delivery initiatives within a government-focused technology environment. The DevOps Engineer will help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while improving deployment efficiency and operational reliability.
Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:
- Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate deployment and release management processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery practices.
- Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions.
- Monitor deployment performance and troubleshoot delivery issues.
- Support cloud-based application environments.
Qualifications of the DevOps Engineer:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 4+ years of DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools.
- Knowledge of source control platforms and release management processes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container technologies.
- Experience scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
Compensation for the DevOps Engineer includes:
- Salary range: $130,000 - $180,000 depending on experience
