Developmental Support Specialist

AlwaysNear Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable professionals to provide structured, non-medical in-home support for children ages 3–8 who are waiting for ABA services, school placement, or other developmental programs.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support in the child’s home

Follow a structured daily routine

Facilitate educational and play-based activities

Support sensory activities

Encourage communication and social interaction

Assist with meals and snacks

Assist with toileting (when appropriate)

Complete daily progress notes

Communicate with families and supervisors

Maintain a safe and engaging environment

Qualifications

✔ Experience with children

✔ Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred

CNA, PCA, RBT, Paraprofessional, Teacher, Childcare Professional, Special Education Assistant, Behavioral Technician, or related experience welcomed

✔ High School Diploma or GED

✔ CPR & First Aid Certification

✔ Reliable transportation

✔ Background check required

Schedule

Monday–Friday
