Cumberland Mountain CSB is seeking a professional for an exciting career as a Part-time Early Intervention Developmental Services Specialist. The chosen candidate will provide assessments to determine eligibility and service planning, develop Individualized Family Services Plans, and provide direct services under the Part C coaching model to assist families to learn key skills to help babies and toddlers progress in development.

Hiring range: $17.50- $26.25hourly. (Offers for candidates with more than 20 years of relevant experience may exceed the listed hiring range. Cumberland will only engage in compensation discussions and negotiations after an initial offer of employment is extended.)

Position Requirements

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Allied Health, including rehabilitation counseling, recreation therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech or language pathology; Child and Family Studies; Early Childhood; Early Childhood growth and development; Early Childhood special education; Human Development; Human Services; Music Therapy; Nursing; Psychology; Social Work; Special Education; Hearing Impairments; Special Education; Visual Impairments; Other related field or interdisciplinary studies approved by the State Lead Agency. All candidates must also possess a valid driver's license and good driving record. Candidate for hire must also pass all CMCSB background screenings.

About the Organization CMCSB was formed in 1972 as a Chapter 10 Community Services Board under Virginia law. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
