Developmental Psychologist for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply your expertise in child development and developmental psychology to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. Your expert input will support how models learn, reason, and respond in psychologically sound, developmentally relevant ways. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI training.
• Provide detailed feedback on the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance of data and model outputs.
• Develop expert analysis for scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children’s learning and behavior.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve models and maintain psychological integrity in AI interactions.
• Create or refine guidance for AI systems addressing linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds.
• Document findings and recommendations clearly to support ongoing AI research and development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Deep expertise in child development and developmental psychology.
• Research or academic experience related to child development or developmental psychology, with or without direct clinical experience.
• Experience with technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused projects related to child development is highly desirable.
• Comfort working independently through remote digital platforms while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is prioritized: Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, or Bulgarian.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $100 to $200 per hour.
