Job Title

Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor (LMSW / LLP / LPC)

Location

Southgate, MI 48195 (On-site)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM + at least one late evening weekly (minimum 4 hours after 5:00 PM)

Pay

$35.60–$48.17/hr (based on license + experience; incentive pay may be available)

Job Summary

Seeking an Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor to lead the clinical and administrative operations of an I/DD program. This role provides clinical supervision, manages crisis situations, strengthens documentation quality, and ensures waiver and regulatory compliance. Ideal for a fully licensed Michigan clinician who is highly organized, supportive with staff coaching, and confident in program oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision using varied supervisory methods
  • Manage and support staff during crisis/de-escalation situations
  • Review treatment records, progress notes, and reports; coach for documentation improvement
  • Train/support staff on EMR workflows, reports, and productivity tracking
  • Oversee staffing needs: onboarding, scheduling support, performance management, coaching, and corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with Habilitation Waiver / Children’s Waiver and other funding requirements
  • Maintain systems for staff credentials, training hours, and monthly supervision requirements
  • Lead staff meetings, case consultations, and interdepartmental coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and community meetings/trainings as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
  • Michigan full license required: LMSW, LLP, or LPC (full license only)
  • 1+ year experience evaluating/treating children and adolescents
  • 1+ year experience working with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities and relevant treatment modalities
  • Strong documentation skills, organization, professionalism, and crisis management ability
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Preferred: Waiver experience, supervisory experience, EMR experience
