Position Overview
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full‑time Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting.
Responsibilities
- Clinical care and teaching of developmental behavioral pediatrics for ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities, emotional disorders, and intellectual disability in child and adolescent populations.
- Provide outpatient care to diverse patient populations, including underserved, lower socio‑economic, and immigrant families.
- Supervise and mentor medical students and residents, and provide didactic teaching and guest lectures.
- Engage in research, curriculum development, quality improvement, and growth in clinical research skills.
Qualifications
- BE/BC pediatrician with experience in inpatient pediatrics and/or BE/BC pediatric hospitalist.
- Valid New York State license and DEA registration.
- Strong educational background with an interest in professional development and ongoing medical education.
Benefits and Compensation
Salary range $180,000–$185,000 plus benefits and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year. Faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience, and qualifications.
