Northwell Health is seeking a Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. - Cohen Children's Medical Center is a 202-bed tertiary care, free-standing pediatric facility.
- The Division consists of 11 attending physicians, 4 fellows, 1 nurse practitioner, 2 nurses, a psychologist, and a social worker.
- Attendings will have an academic appointment at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
- Cohen Children's Medical Center is the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the region, serving 1.8 million children annually.
- It is the tertiary pediatric medical center of the Northwell Health System and the only Level-1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Nassau and Queens.
Responsibilities
- Clinical evaluation and follow-up of children and adolescents with a range of developmental and behavioral complaints in an outpatient setting.
- Actively involved with resident and fellowship training.
- Research opportunities may also exist for interested candidates with a demonstrated commitment.
Compensation
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000.

Requirements
- Experience in a broad range of disorders, including attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral issues, developmental delays, common genetic abnormalities (e.g., Down syndrome), sleep and feeding disorders, and educational problems involving speech, language, and/or learning.
- BC/BE in DBP or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities is primarily sought.
- Pediatricians with a demonstrated interest in and considerable experience dealing with children with ADHD or other developmental issues are also encouraged to apply.
- Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Must be Board Eligible/Certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
