Job TitleCary Academy employeeJob DescriptionCore responsibilities include maintaining accurate donor and constituent records, processing gifts and pledges, generating reports, providing administrative support, assisting with budget tracking, supporting fundraising campaigns, creating and managing online forms, and learning and utilizing database and software systems.As a Cary Academy employee, you will engage actively in the school's diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism work, attend and participate in all required professional development activities, engage in self-reflection and improvement of practice, complete all required administrative and operational tasks, use designated technology assets and platforms, and perform other projects and duties as assigned.Essential expectations include attention to detail, handling a multiple-priority, deadline-oriented work environment, handling tasks with interruptions, being customer-service oriented, and demonstrating an aptitude for learning database systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.Educational and professional requirements include an associate's degree in a related field, 3-5 years of general office experience, and excellent computer skills with thorough knowledge of software packages including Blackbaud/Raisers' Edge. Knowledge and skill requirements include a thorough understanding of office procedures, general office equipment, problem-solving, organizational, communication, writing, and mathematical skills.Work schedule includes working on campus Monday-Friday year-round, with the possibility of temporary modifications including work on weekends or holidays.
