Leading pre-NTP development activities, the full-time salaried Development Manager, Solar Energy will manage due diligence for acquisitions, oversee project transitions to NTP, and support early-stage greenfield energy storage development, primarily in the Northeast and Midwest. Key responsibilities Lead development due diligence across permitting, zoning, environmental, and land use Own NTP schedules, risk registers, and development budgets while driving permitting and land use approvals Maintain alignment with cross-functional teams, managing external consultants and local stakeholders efficiently Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 6+ years of professional experience in renewable energy development with a focus on DG solar and/or energy storage Expertise in permitting, real estate, and NTP processes Strong knowledge of DG markets and community solar/state program rules Fluency in incentive compliance and familiarity with ITC pathways
