Development ManagerThe O'Connor Group is partnering with the team at Bringing Hope Home to find their next Development Manager.The Development Manager will lead fundraising and relationship-building efforts in support of Bringing Hope Home's mission throughout the Baltimore region. This position is responsible for cultivating and stewarding corporate partners, foundations, community leaders, and individual donors while growing revenue and visibility for the annual Baltimore Hope Dinner held each March while building the BHH community in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven fundraiser who thrives in community engagement, event fundraising, sponsorship development, and donor stewardship.Corporate & Community PartnershipsIdentify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate sponsors and community partnersWork with BHH Marketing Manager to develop sponsorship packages and partnership proposalsBuild relationships with Baltimore-area business leaders and philanthropic networksRepresent the organization at networking and community eventsIndividual Giving & Donor StewardshipManage relationships with individual donors and prospectsCoordinate donor meetings, cultivation events, and stewardship activitiesDevelop donor communications and impact reportingSupport moves management and major gift pipeline developmentFoundation & Grant SupportResearch prospective foundations and grant opportunitiesAssist with proposal development and reportingMaintain foundation relationship calendar and deadlinesBaltimore Hope DinnerLead fundraising strategy and sponsorship efforts for the annual March eventRecruit and support committee members, honorees, and ambassadorsWork with BHH Director of Signature Events to coordinate event fundraising timelines, sponsorship, fulfillment, and donor engagementPartner with marketing staff on promotions and communicationsSupport future Baltimore events as neededDevelopment OperationsMaintain donor database and fundraising recordsGenerate fundraising reports and analyticsAssist with annual fundraising planning and campaign trackingSupport organizational development goals and strategic initiativesExperience RequirementsBachelor's degree required3-7 years of nonprofit fundraising, business development, or relationship management experienceExperience with sponsorship sales, donor cultivation, or event fundraisingFamiliarity with donor CRM systems such as BloomerangExisting Baltimore-area corporate and philanthropic relationshipsExperience managing fundraising events or galasKnowledge of healthcare, family support, or mission-driven nonprofit sectorsStrong communication and presentation skillsCompassion, empathy and connection to the BHH mission a mustStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong collaboratorExcellent writing and communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be a self starter, with the ability to work 90% remotelySchedule/BenefitsMonday thru Friday90% remote position in Baltimore, MD area, requiring 1 day/month (Tuesday) in-person in Malvern, PASome weekend and evening work required at BHH Signature EventsMedical/Dental/VisionHSAPaid Time Off, Sick and Personal TimeRetirement Plan with 3% company matchShort term disability, long term disability, life insuranceHybrid flexibility and professional development opportunities
