To support major and principal gift cultivation, the full-time Development Associate, Prospect Research will identify, research, and analyze prospects for philanthropic investment while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity. Key responsibilities Conduct detailed research to identify potential donors and funding sources using various databases and resources Collect and analyze biographical and financial data to produce research documents that inform decision-making for fundraising efforts Execute prospect acquisition strategies and collaborate with development staff on special projects and portfolio assignments Required qualifications Bachelor's degree and 1 to 3 years of direct fundraising or development experience preferred Experience with prospect research databases and data management Ability to synthesize high volumes of data and write concise reports Strong analytical skills and experience in interpreting biographic and financial information Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
