Development Accountant

A well known client of ours is looking for a Development Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate has 1-4 years of construction accounting experience. Please apply if this role interests you, the client is moving quickly!!

Responsibilities:

• Monthly financial reports for development companies internally and to external partners
• Performs special analytical and accounting studies as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assists in the proper coding of invoices to ensure expenditures are reflected in the correct general ledger accounts
• Assists in the proper coding of invoices, including analysis and reconciliation to ensure expenditures are reflected in the correct general ledger accounts
• Tracks costs against Investment Committee approved budgets
• Reconciles costs on Development Project Cost System to general ledger
• Reconciles intercompany balances and transactions
• Prepares monthly bank reconciliations. Works with Transaction Services to clear all reconciling items on a timely basis
