Reporting Developer (III)The Reporting Developer (III) works under minimal supervision to design, test, and implement reports and Power BI dashboards. The person is also expected to be involved in production support for 100+ reports running daily from the Data Warehouse.Essential Job Functions:Develop complex reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.Provide estimates of level of work effort and time for completionDevelop and unit test complex reports with accurate schedulingSupport existing reports and troubleshoot any data issuesProvide fully documented work, instruction, and training to peers, as requiredInteract with the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in adherence with the defined enterprise standardsEducational Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information SystemsRole Specific Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in Reporting technologiesRole Specific Experience: 6+ years in Dashboarding (Tableau/Power BI etc..).Experience in Software Development Life CycleExtensive experience with Relational Databases Oracle 19c with JDBC thin and thick clientsExperience in traditional waterfall and agile methodologiesOther Qualifications:Excellent oral and written communication skillsAdvanced understanding of complex enterprise dataAdvanced knowledge of SQLAzure experience neededNot looking at any candidates that are not local to the D.C area.
