Developer - PowerBI DeveloperClient Looking for This position requires a qualified Power BI Developer with at least 7 years' experience in the following areas:Responsibilities:Prototyping, designing, developing, and publishing Power BI ReportsDevelop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizationsImplement security in reports and dashboardsIntegrate Dashboards into applications using Power BI Embedded.Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for Analytics and ReportingProvide guidance and code reviews to BI team membersTroubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performanceCreate and modify database tables and views. Review plans to optimize SQL queriesResponsible for implementing security on developed Dashboards in accordance with security and access requirementsEnsure agile/scrum practices are followed during the development processEvaluate self-service reporting and dashboard toolResponsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Multi-task effectively between projects.Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.Must possess analytical and complex problem-solving skills.Qualification: REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): THE ABILITY TO:Experience in Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and DashboardsExperience in Reporting and Analytics using Power BI - M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, Row Level SecurityExperience in database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills, preferable SQL ServerAnalytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphicsUnderstanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sourcesExperience working with Agile methodology and self-starter who can quickly acclimate to a dynamic environment.Preferred/Not Required:Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform including Exchange, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem.Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts including access control and data security.Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification.About our Company:DataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
