Developer - Associate (0020-0025)

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data engineering and reporting solutions. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and database objects to support enterprise data integration and reporting needs. Support business intelligence and reporting initiatives by preparing datasets and optimizing data structures used for enterprise reporting solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, database performance, and data integration processes. Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to support the full software and data engineering development lifecycle including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related. Foreign equivalents accepted.

1 year of experience in Data Management or Data Warehousing.

Special Skills Requirements

Position requires skills with the following which may be gained through experience or education in degree granting programs (including projects, papers, internships, practical training experiences or similar): - Developing data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL. - Programming in Python for data ingestion, transformation, and automation. - Integrating data from multiple sources including REST APIs and semi-structured data formats JSON and XML. - Working with cloud-based data warehousing platforms Snowflake. - Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data processing and performance tuning. - Working with relational database management systems Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. - Supporting data reporting and analytics solutions using business intelligence tool Power BI. - Building and deploying data applications using Python-based frameworks.
