Dev/Research Engineer
Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment. Test validation – validating the functionality of software and controls features; common area – carrying out requirements; system level testing; working with mechanics, instrumentation technicians and operators
Plan, execute, and document machine level software testing. Daily interaction with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics.
Three team leaders, several senior engineers, and several junior engineers. Twenty percent office and eighty percent on your feet either in the shop or local field. PPE gear – boots, glasses, uniform.
Education and experience required: one to two years of experience; B.S. engineering; no two year degrees. Internships as job experience are accepted. Past or additional job titles or roles that would provide comparable background to this role include mechanic, construction, landscaping.
