Detention Officer I - Safety, Security & Inmate Welfare

Glynn County Government is seeking a Detention Officer for the Brunswick, GA Detention Center. You will maintain safety, security, and sanitation for inmates, staff, and the public while enforcing rules and procedures.

Responsibilities include processing inmates, housing assignments, supervising daily activities, security checks, and coordinating health and safety measures. Requires a high school diploma or GED; detention experience preferred.
