Desktop TechnicianThis role involves providing high-quality desktop support to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of technical issues. The position requires monitoring dispatch queues and resolving tickets with known solutions, as well as troubleshooting and remediating issues arising from the user base.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field1–3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk environmentStrong experience with Windows OS (Windows 10, Windows 11)Experience assembling, disassembling, and troubleshooting PC components (CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, GPU)Prior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of peripherals such as printers, scanners, and monitorsProficient in installing and configuring desktop applications (Client Office, Adobe, Google Chrome)Experience with antivirus tools and system utilitiesDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage individual ticket queues to resolve routine desktop issues and service requestsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral-related issuesEscalate complex issues to supervisors or appropriate teams when requiredEnsure compliance with corporate and divisional policies and proceduresMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective supportFollow established desktop support practices and standard operating proceduresUpdate ServiceNow and other tracking systems in a timely and accurate mannerMeet defined ticket volume and resolution targetsExecute computer replacements based on equipment lifecycle/end-of-life schedulesCompany Benefits & CultureCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentInclusive and collaborative work environment
