Role: Desktop Team Leader – Trading
Client: Elite FinTech / HFT Firm
Compensation: $140,000 - $250,000 + Bonus
Location: New York

Overview

My client are seeking an Engineer turned Manager to lead a globally dispersed Desktop Support team in a busy trading environment.

You will have 2+ years of experience managing a Support team, ideally within a global setup. The ideal candidate will come from a similar environment.

The Role

Team Leadership: Leading and managing a global Desktop Support team.

Trading Environment: Operating within a fast-paced trading environment.

Support Oversight: Overseeing 2nd line support activities and escalations.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Running a team of Support / Desktop Analysts.
• Desktop Support: Providing broad 2nd line support.
• Microsoft Environment: Supporting Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory and Office365.
• Cloud: Working with Azure environments.
• Automation: Using PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Communication: Communicating effectively at all levels of the business.

Requirements

• Management: 2+ years’ experience managing a Support team.
• Microsoft: Strong Microsoft-oriented skillset including Windows 10/11, AD and Office365.
• PowerShell: Strong PowerShell experience.
• Communication: Ability to communicate at all levels.
