Desktop Support Technician - Onsite

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a leading global organization in Shelton, CT. This individual will serve as the primary onsite support resource, focusing heavily on MacOS and Windows support. They will also support executives with white-glove customer service in the HQ. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-touch support to end users and leadership teams. This role includes desktop support, mobile device troubleshooting, conference room technology support, and ITSM process improvement initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, supporting executive meetings, and partnering closely with both local and global technology teams.

Day-to-Day:

• Provide onsite Level 1/2 support for Mac and Windows users

• 70% Mac/30% Windows

• Deliver white-glove support to executives and VIPs

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues

• Support conference rooms, meetings, and AV equipment

• Manage mobile device support for iOS and Android users

• Track and resolve incidents, requests, and problem tickets

• Assist with Mac/PC deployments, upgrades, and disposals

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of end-user/Desktop Support experience

• Strong MacOS support experience (MacBooks, iMacs)

• Strong Windows 11 experience

• Experience with MDM to support mobile devices (iOS/Android) and managing deployments, configuration, compliance, and retirement (ex: Kandji, JAMF, Intune)

• Microsoft 365/O365

• MS Teams

Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour
