We are looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Technician / IT Support Analyst to provide technical support for end users, desktops, laptops, networks, and IT equipment at our Barrington, IL location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide onsite and remote IT support to end users.
- Support Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Active Directory.
- Perform PC imaging, configuration, installation, and deployment.
- Support printers, mobile devices, RF scanners, and warehouse IT equipment.
- Assist with basic network, server, and backup monitoring.
- Maintain IT equipment inventory and technical documentation.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, IT Support, or Help Desk.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows PCs, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
- Experience with PC imaging, printer support, and device deployment.
- Knowledge of LANDesk/Ivanti, MDT, or Lotus Notes is a plus.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Barrington, IL, with occasional travel (up to 15%).
The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity $50000 - $60000
