Must Haves:
* Tier 1 support
* Customer service personality
* Hardware IT experience
* Comfortable supporting new hires with equipment set up, password resets, etc.
Job Description:
* Survey
* * Updates CMDB hardware status and location for each workstation
* Validates CMDB against the Workstation Survey Report
* Workstation Configuration & Readiness
* * Follows established process to load image and configure workstations and/or smart devices.
* Updates CMDB hardware status for each workstation and/or smart device.
* Ensures all workstations/smart devices are documented and prepared for transit to location.
* Confirms equipment has been delivered to correct location.
* Validates CMDB for newly installed workstations/smart devices against the Workstation Installation Report
* Workstation/Smart Device Replacement
* * Disconnects USB devices plugged into workstations.
* Deinstalls workstations, keyboards, and mice o Installs workstations, new keyboards, and mice.
* Reconnects remaining USB devices.
* Validates workstations are functional.
* Validates workstations can print.
* Removes smart devices and accessories
* Verifies all deinstalled equipment is ready for disposal, is listed in the Equipment Deinstall report, and physically accounted for
