Warehouse Database TechnicianMaintain critical IS warehouse databases and records.Breakdown and track disposal of all equipment.Receive and inventory all computer equipment that is delivered to the warehouse.Configure, troubleshoot and repair equipment based upon its configuration requirements.Record and track all shipments of computer equipment to partners sites and to IS technicians.Ensure completion of all work assignments in accordance within established procedures.Maintain and comply with proper procedures for disposal of computer equipment at end of life.Function both as an individual contributor and team player within Partners IS and the hospital community at large.Provide quality customer service and serve as an exemplary representative of Partners Information Systems. On-going communication, feedback and follow-through with customers/peers is essential.Occasional after hours and weekend work to perform tasks that cannot be done during business hours.Participate on-call when necessary.Learn and back up other IS Warehouse/IS Customer Service positions as needed.All additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:1-2 years in a warehouse/inventory environment.Certified in PC repair or equivalent experience.Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Knowledge of desktop operation environments: Windows XP, Vista, 7.Knowledge of supported software packages: MSOffice, Microsoft Explorer, client Asset and Service Center.Knowledge of computer hardware.General knowledge of LAN operation system: 2003, XP, 7.Basic knowledge of command prompt.Knowledge of security and encryption software (e.g. MSE, Bitlocker).Knowledge of computer hardware (A+ certification is a plus).Ability to be flexible, versatile and adapt to the day to day demands servicing a multi-site environment.Have the ability to use equipment used in a warehouse environment: two wheeled carts, lift jacks.
