Our client, a children's apparel brand, is seeking a Designer to join their team in NYC to work across girls sizes 4-18.
**5 days a week onsite
Specific responsibilities include:
- Research and determine key styles and fabrications for upcoming product deliveries
- Create sketches and work with technical team on construction and fit
- Work with Art team on graphics, prints and patterns
- Maintain data in PLM
- Prepare presentations
- Maintaining knowledge of the current market to identify trends in color, fabric, patterns, etc.
- Presenting seasonal trend research reports
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience in kids design
- Experience in both AI technology and 3D Browzwear software is a plus
- Experience designing for mass markets preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Fine Arts
- Strong proficiency in Adobe CS
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong print sense
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Project management skills
