Note: Hybrid schedule (3 days a week at the office) + occasional substation visits.

Job Description:

  The successful candidate will be responsible for building substation RTU configurations and remotely supporting field installations of Substation Integration and Automation (SIA) equipment for Clients transmission and distribution systems.

  Entry Level Designer (~1-5 years' experience)

  n
n
• n

  BS Engineering Technology Degree preferred (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) OR Associate degree with applicable experience

  n
n
• n

  Requires NERC/CIP access.

  n
n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

n
• n

  Understanding of Networking preferred

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of reading design drawings preferred

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of 3-phase power, power system analysis and protection, AC/DC control schemes, communication software and protocols

  n
n
• n

  Ability to make timely, rational decisions in situations where errors in judgment can adversely impact customer service

  n
n
• n

  Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, tailoring communication for audience/situation

  n

• n

  Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
