We have an exciting opportunity for a Verification Engineer (Test Engineer I) with our client in Goleta, CA . If you have experience with design/system verification, hands-on testing, and test automation , I'd love to connect.
Location: Goleta, CA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 7+ Month Contract (to start)
Pay Rate: $55/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on design and system verification testing for imaging devices and systems.
- Execute and develop test procedures, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and the test lab to validate new and modified requirements.
- Support test automation and data collection activities using programming tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 0-3+ years of Design Verification, Systems Verification, or Test Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with technical documentation and report writing.
- Programming experience with C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python , or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, etc.) is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Medical device or imaging systems experience.
- Knowledge of DOORS, Polarion, PTC, or other requirements management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or V-Model development processes.
