Design Quantities Engineer | Herndon, VA
I'm currently looking for a Design Quantities Engineer to join a major U.S. civil infrastructure contractor in Herndon, Virginia
The role focuses on quantity takeoffs for bids and design-build pursuits , reviewing plans and specifications, maintaining quantity workpapers, supporting quantity variance reviews, and collaborating with Engineering, Cost Control and BIM teams.
Location: Herndon, VA
Travel: Approximately 20%
Experience: 10+ years in heavy civil construction / estimating
Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Bluebeam, HCSS/HeavyBid, Agtek, Primavera P6
Background: Heavy civil, transportation, infrastructure, bridges, roads or tunneling
