Overview
We are partnering with a growing, family-oriented component manufacturer seeking an experienced Lead Truss Designer to support continued expansion. This is a strong opportunity for a senior-level designer who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design roof and floor truss systems for residential and multifamily projects
- Review layouts for accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance
- Collaborate with sales, production, and customers to resolve design challenges
- Support junior designers as needed
- Maintain turnaround times in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 8+ years of wood truss design experience
- Proficiency in MiTek or Alpine software
- Strong background in residential and multifamily work
- Prior remote work experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Leadership or lead designer experience strongly preferred
