Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support our foundry operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with casting design, pattern development, and manufacturing processes related to non-ferrous metals. This position plays a key role in bridging engineering design with production efficiency to ensure quality and cost-effective casting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  Design and develop casting models, cores, and patterns for foundry production.

  Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

  Collaborate with production, patternmaking, and machining teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.

  n

• n

  Review customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure compliance.

  n

• n

  Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for design optimization.

• n

  Assist in troubleshooting design or casting issues during production.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain accurate documentation and project records.

  n
n

Qualifications:

• n

  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• n

  2+ years of experience in foundry or casting design (preferred).

  n
n
• n

  Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

  n

• n

  Knowledge of foundry processes, materials, and manufacturing principles.

• n

  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• n

  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
