Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority seeks a Design Engineer III to support spaceport and autonomous systems infrastructure at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport. In this role, you will design and analyze launch pad, ground support, and handling systems, producing models, drawings, and calculations that meet aerospace and safety standards. Working in a small, collaborative team, you’ll partner with senior engineers, operations staff, government, and industry stakeholders to develop concepts, support testing and commissioning, and help advance Virginia’s launch and UAS capabilities.
