n● Data Integrity & PDM: Manage version control and engineering change orders (ECO)
nwithin a PDM/PLM environment to ensure model accuracy across teams.
n● Subsystem Integration: Create and implement interface control documents and other
nreviewable and auditable standards to facilitate the seamless integration of the work of
ndifferent single threaded owners into the complete product model.
n● Drawing Generation and Review: creation, inspection, and correction of part and
nassembly drawings associated with multiple model configurations.
n● Manufacturing Integration: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Leads to ensure all
nautomated outputs follow DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles.
n● Performance Optimization: Implement "Large Assembly" best practices to ensure
nhigh-performance model stability even when dealing with 10,000+ parts.
n● Architect Complex Parametric Models: Develop and manage sophisticated master
nassemblies using advanced SolidWorks techniques like skeleton modeling, layout
nsketches, and multi-body part design.
n● Configuration Management: Create and maintain high-fidelity configurations for
ncomplicated solid models to manage variations in material, size, and features within a
nsingle file architecture

nSkills and Requirements
n● Expertise: 5+ years / 10,000 hours of advanced SolidWorks experience, specifically in
ncomplex assembly and configuration management, in medical, consumer or other rapid
ndelivery industries.
n● Certification: CSWE (Certified SolidWorks Expert) or CSWP (Professional) strongly
npreferred.
n● Drafting standards: expert proficiency in ASME Y14.5-2018 dimensioning and
ntolerancing standards.
n● Mathematical Proficiency: Strong background in geometry and math to handle complex
nparametric relationships and logic-based design rules.
n● Technical Communication: Ability to translate complex engineering logic into clear,
nusable CAD templates for junior designers.
n● Engineering Proficiency: mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering degree helpful
nbut not required.
