Notable projects include the Southwest METRO Green Line Extension, I-74 Mississippi River Bridge, Saint Croix Crossing, Marquette Interchange, I-494 Airport to Highway 169 Design-Build, and the Southwest LRT Blue Line Extension.DESCRIPTION:As a Design Build Project Manager at Lunda Construction, reporting to Regional Manager, you will have the opportunity to:Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources neededManage project budgets and minimize exposure and risk on projectsEnsure procurement and proposal development activities move according to scheduleEnsure that construction activities move according to schedule and communicate any delays to appropriate partiesCoordinate the development of project work plans and make revisions as when neededPerform constructability reviewCommunicate effectively with the contractors and vendors responsible for completing various phases of workCoordinate the efforts of all parties involved in projects, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractorsMonitor/report the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with clients and/or consultant teamMaintain strict adherence to quality and safety standardsInspect and review construction sitesEnsure project documents are compliantPerform other duties as requiredREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred10 or more years of relevant project management experience5 or more years of Design Build project experienceHeavy civil construction experience preferredAbility to work under pressureExcellent time management skills and logical decision-making abilityAbility to read and understand drawings and specificationsMust have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well as part of a teamExcellent written and oral communication is necessaryAbility to collaborate with personnel at all levels, both internal and external to the organizationMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesAbility to travel is requiredOUR MISSIONWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.OUR VISIONWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
