Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Manager, Design Assurance will serve as the quality subject matter expert on cross-functional new product development teams, ensuring quality requirements are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle and supporting design control processes from concept through commercialization. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain best practice quality planning tools and methods, including design quality plans and control plans Conduct product and process design reviews to ensure quality and reliability considerations are addressed Implement verification and validation techniques to ensure new product development products meet critical-to-quality requirements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, design assurance, and new product development Strong working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies Experience in complex matrix, cross-functional product development environments Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
