Position Overview
nWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified School Counselors and Mental Health Workers to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. These professionals will work within school settings to provide counseling services, mental health support, crisis intervention, and collaboration with educators and families to promote student success.
nSome positions are assigned to a single school site, while others may provide services across two school locations .
nResponsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling to students

Support students with social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs

Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
n n - n
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources to support student success
n n - n
Develop and implement strategies to improve student well-being and academic achievement
n n - n
Maintain accurate documentation and case records in accordance with district and state requirements
n n - n
Participate in student support meetings, IEPs, 504 meetings, and other multidisciplinary team discussions as needed

Identify and connect students and families with appropriate community resources and services
n n - n
Promote a positive and inclusive school climate

Required Qualifications

Active DESE Certified School Counselor License
n n - n
Experience providing counseling and support services to school-aged children preferred
n n - n
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
n n - n
Ability to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
n n - n
Ability to work at one school site or between two school locations as assigned

Assignment Details
nThis is a full-time, 9-month contract opportunity serving students in primary, elementary, and intermediate school settings. Professionals may be assigned to a single campus or travel between two schools, depending on district needs. The role focuses on supporting students' mental health, emotional well-being, and overall success in the school environment.
