Position Overview
Great Lakes Pathologists, SC (GLP) is recruiting AP/CP BE/BC dermatopathologists with subspecialty fellowship training in dermatopathology to work within GLP’s Milwaukee region to support growing practice volumes. Board‑certified dermatology‑trained dermatopathologists are also encouraged to apply. GLP seeks candidates with prior experience or fellows in training, including those finishing in 2027 or 2028.
Location
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The position is partnership track with a flexible start date and is based in the Milwaukee area.
Responsibilities
- Sign out dermatopathology cases only, with no call.
- Join an experienced and collegial team of board‑certified dermatopathologists from both pathology and dermatology training backgrounds.
Scope of Practice
GLP has 52 pathologists providing extensive internal subspecialty expertise, including board‑certified hematopathologists and soft‑tissue pathologists, across GLP’s service area. In‑house immunohistochemistry, molecular, flow cytometry, and cytogenetic testing capabilities are available. Hematopathology, dermatopathology, and cytopathology are subspecialty sign‑outs within GLP’s metro Milwaukee locations.
Additional Services
GLP provides pathology services to Advocate Clinical Lab (ACL Laboratories) for Aurora facilities of Advocate Health and ProHealth Care facilities throughout eastern Wisconsin (19 total hospitals). GLP has 19 pathologists' assistants that provide grossing duties at 4 different ACL facilities, including 3 locations within metro Milwaukee. GLP and ACL are actively implementing digital pathology to support diagnostic excellence.
Licensure
Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin is required. GLP does not offer visa waivers or sponsorship.
