Job Overview
The Department of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is seeking an energetic full-time academic Dermatologist. Requirements include board eligibility/certification, strong commitment to teaching medical students and residents, and an interest in clinical or translational research. The dermatologist will serve as faculty in a ten‑person residency program and be active within our research unit.
Clinical Settings
The Dermatology clinical services are located at Loyola's Oak Brook Terrace, Burr Ridge, and Homer Glen. These specialty sites offer procedural services including five non‑ablative lasers, Fraxel Dual Laser, Ulthera, microneedling, Mohs micrographic surgery, phototherapy, and photodynamic therapy. Clinical practice serves a diverse patient population and includes surgical, cosmetic, pediatric, and inpatient consultation services.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive starting compensation between $350,000 and $550,000, salary based on academic rank and experience
- Excellent benefits, including paid time off days, paid malpractice with post‑employment tail coverage, relocation expense reimbursement (in accordance with IRS guidelines), CME days and allowance, and additional benefits from LUC or VA (if applicable)
