Dermatologist

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of Optum, is seeking a Dermatologist to join their growing team in the greater Houston area. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical dermatology care to a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics, within a nationally recognized multi-specialty group practice. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality, coordinated care and collaborate with various specialists.

• Multi-specialty clinic with over 900 medical providers in 65 medical specialties
• Dermatology team consists of 35 providers, including dermatopathologists, Mohs surgeons, pediatric dermatologists, and APCs
• Offers additional services such as phototherapy (nbUVB, excimer), extended patch testing, and select cosmetic services
• Collaborates extensively with other Kelsey specialists including General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, and Radiation Oncology
• Opportunity to participate in a monthly tumor board and quarterly journal club

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage all types of medical dermatology conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers
• See a wide range of patients including adult and pediatric

Compensation

• Compensation generally ranges from $360,000 to $672,500
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
• Compensation is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved training program in the United States
• Licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible
