Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin infections.
- Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
- Shave biopsies
- Punch biopsies
- Excisional biopsies
- Cryotherapy
- Lesion removal and suturing
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
- Educate patients on skincare, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Monitor patient progress through follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to provide high-quality patient care.
- Perform cosmetic procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers if trained and experienced.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
- Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency.
- Active State Medical License (or eligible to obtain).
- Active DEA registration (or eligible to obtain).
- Experience with EHR systems preferred (NextGen is a plus).
- Training or experience in cosmetic dermatology (Botox and fillers) is preferred.
