Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Dermatologist to join its busy, established practice in Fargo, ND. This role offers the opportunity to customize your practice to include cosmetic dermatology, working alongside two dermatologists and an aesthetician. The position features a flexible 4-5-day work week with no in-hospital or after-hours call, supported by a well-equipped office and a dedicated nursing team.
Practice Info
- Join two dermatologists, including one Dermatopathology-trained physician, and an aesthetician onsite.
- Wide range of dermatologic services including general medical & surgical dermatology, Mohs surgery, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology.
- Patient demand supported by advanced practice providers; supervision of non-physician providers is optional.
- Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon onsite.
- Well-equipped office offering UVB phototherapy, XTRAC excimer laser, Candela VBeam, Sciton platform with BBL, ProFractional, Halo, Q-switched Nd:YAG, Ruby, Light Sheer hair removal.
- Support of 2-3 nurses per physician.
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Provide consultative services.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical and surgical care to patients of all ages.

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing residency/fellowship log (for recent graduates) OR a quality profile from current hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 24 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications, demonstrating active involvement in at least 100 Dermatology procedures in the last 24 months.
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency in Dermatology of at least 4 years' duration (transitional year + 3 years' dermatology residency) accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
