Deputy Program ManagerPeraton is seeking incumbent and external qualified Deputy Program Manager candidates to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyene Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III (NISSC III).Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by summer 2026Qualified candidates will help operate, maintain, and sustain critical national mission systems to deliver resilient strategic threat warning and space capabilities as part of a world-wide architecture, providing strategic warning that our nation depends on during a conflict. This program will provide an opportunity to exploit the capabilities inherent in our diverse national systems to better meet the needs of the national command authority and warfighters to detect, track, and respond to strategic threats through 2030 and beyond.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Program Manager in execution of a large-scale, mission-critical program supporting NORAD strategic warning and space operationsOversee day-to-day program operations across OM&S, engineering, cybersecurity, and sustainment activitiesEnsure 24×7 operational performance and mission readiness across distributed teams and systemsCoordinate execution across functional leads, subcontractors, and mission stakeholdersAssist with program financial management including staffing plans, forecasting, and cost controlDrive task execution, performance tracking, and delivery against SLAs and KPIsSupport transition activities including program stand-up, staffing ramp, and knowledge transferIdentify operational risks and support mitigation strategies across program executionEnsure adherence to cybersecurity, RMF, and classified systems compliance requirementsSupport customer engagement activities including PMRs, status reporting, and briefingsAct on behalf of the Program Manager as requiredRequired QualificationsActive DoD Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain SCI access required12+ years of relevant experience6–8+ years of experience supporting DoD programs in a leadership roleExperience supporting operations, maintenance, and sustainment (OM&S) programsExperience supporting space, missile warning, C2, ISR, or similar mission environmentsProven ability to support execution in a 24×7 operational environmentExperience with program coordination, reporting, and operational oversightFamiliarity with subcontractor coordination and multi-team environmentsExperience working within classified systems and secure mission environmentsMust be able to work in office or at a Customer location 4 days per weekUp to 20-25% travel may be required for this positionDesired QualificationsPMP or DAWIA certification, or working toward certificationPrior experience supporting NISSC I/II, ITW/AA, or Cheyenne Mountain Complex programsExperience with space domain awareness or missile warning systemsFamiliarity with DevSecOps or modern mission system environmentsBackground in RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance frameworksPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
