Position Overview
The Deputy Program Manager shall support the Program Manager in the responsibilities for organizing, directing, coordinating, planning, and the production of all contract activities including interfacing with client management such as the COR and TA. The Deputy Program Manager shall support the Program Manager in the responsibilities for assigning, scheduling, and providing configuration control and quality assurance of project team deliverables; and establishing and altering program organization to provide effective contract support. The Deputy Program Manager shall represent the Program Manager to the Government as needed.
Essential Job Function
Support the Program Manager in organizing, directing, coordinating, and planning all contract activities
Interface with client management such as the COR and TA
Support assigning, scheduling, and providing configuration control and quality assurance of project team deliverables
Support establishing and altering program organization to provide effective contract support
Support ensuring conformance to task specifications and contract provisions
Represent the Program Manager to the Government as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
Master's degree in a technical or management discipline
At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience
At least ten (10) years managing complex DoD projects involving a large number of people in subordinate groups
Desired Qualifications
Experience supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ
Familiarity with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) mission areas
