Position Title: Deputy General Counsel (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $230,000 - $250,000 / Year DOE
Deputy General Counsel Responsibilities
- Oversee all litigation, including appellate work across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with top external litigation firms
- Address data privacy issues and marketing litigation
- Engage with regulators on compliance matters
- Edit legal briefs and manage regulatory components
- Interact with the board of directors on strategic legal matters
Deputy General Counsel Requirements
- 10+ years of experience post-law school with a focus on litigation
- Active Bar membership in California
- Experience working within a highly regulated business environment
- Admission to a U.S. bar is preferred
- Prior in-house compliance or litigation experience in technology or consumer products is preferred
- Supervisory experience and the ability to manage outside counsel are preferred
- Experience with heightened privacy and consumer protection scrutiny is preferred
